So far in 2019, the company has identified and partnered with a number of organizations that assist in bettering the lives of the most vulnerable members of society.

Comic Relief at Mercedes-Benz of Whitefield

Mercedes-Benz of Whitefield was one of the businesses in the UK that participated in the annual #RedNoseDay initiative, hosted by Comic Relief in March 2019. The team donned the customary Red Noses and had fun activities at the dealership, such as an on-site make-up artist and photo shoots with celebrity cut-outs. There was a great amount of support from customers and partners, who generously donated via the Facebook page or at the dealership.

Francis House can count on Mercedes-Benz of Manchester Central

The Accountants Team at Mercedes-Benz of Manchester Central raised funds for local children’s hospice, Francis House in April 2019. Francis House provides respite care, homecare, sibling support, end of life care, as well as emotional and bereavement support to sick children and young people as well as their families.

In the UK, another countdown is on. In July, LSH Auto UK is scheduled to open its latest state-of-the-art flagship at Brighton Road, Stockport, Greater Manchester.

Not content with resting on its laurels as one of the leading premium auto dealer groups, LSH Auto UK is in the final stage of unveiling its Mercedes-Benz of Stockport, which will be one of Europe's biggest Mercedes-Benz dealerships.

Stockport Gets Ready

Just around 18 months ago, LSH Auto announced its plans for the development, bringing a £60m investment to a land area of 42,310 sqm. In October 2017, when applying for planning permission to build this facility, it committed to regenerating the industrial site that previously had been neglected for years, and transforming this gateway to Stockport into a prominent landmark.

The development is now starting to breathe new life into the area. Mercedes-Benz of Stockport consists of two main buildings: the Mercedes-Benz Autohaus (a.k.a. Showroom) and the Mercedes-Benz Body & Paint Centre. Since 1 April 2019, the 17,166 sqm, three-storey Body & Paint Centre is already fully operational, providing body & paint, used car preparation, storage and related services, as well as 30 workshop bays. An initial 55 jobs have been created.

As for the main Mercedes-Benz Autohaus, 13,492 sqm, finishing touches are currently being applied to the three-storey facility. Scheduled for completion and official opening in July 2019, the Autohaus will be able to showcase 140 vehicles, including brand-new Mercedes-Benz cars as well as approved used cars.

Officially opened on 8th April 2019 and situated in Birmingham, England, Mercedes-Benz of Erdington is the largest dealership of LSH Auto UK dedicated to Mercedes-Benz approved used cars.

Breaking New Ground in the Industry

Located at Bromford Lane, Erdington, the “Used Car Centre of Excellence” presents a new and full-fledged offering for customers. Its showroom houses over 200 vehicles in its display, including 50 models in the showroom and 150 vehicles displayed outside.

Opening Celebration with an Exclusive F1 Experience

On 2nd May, a month after its official opening, an exclusive launch event was held at the dealership for customers, guests, and partners

The main highlight was a highly-anticipated session and Q&A with Formula 1 commentator David “Crofty” Croft, coupled with a display of a 1:1 replica of the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team racing car, as driven by racing legend Lewis Hamilton, and an impressive display of Mercedes-Benz vintage cars.

Down Under in Australia, Lei Shing Hong Group, the ultimate parent of LSH Auto International, is about to unveil a new landmark and its first-ever luxury retail development. Located in upscale Brisbane, the Breakfast Creek Wharf is a five-storey, 22,473 sqm luxury lifestyle precinct that stands over an entire river front.

Carrying a distinctive six-metre high “three-pointed star” that lights up the local skyline at night, it is also home to the latest upcoming LSH Auto Australia dealership. Upon its official opening, the new four-storey Mercedes-Benz Brisbane will be the largest Mercedes-Benz dealership in the Southern Hemisphere.

Commencing operations in July 2019, Mercedes-Benz Brisbane will have a full floor dedicated to new car showrooms, a unique LSH gallery displaying classic Mercedes-Benz models, an AMG Performance Centre, an S-Class Lounge with concierge service, digital car customisation screen, and more than 40 service bays.

Amongst the range of new customer experience and vehicle service technology included will be new “MAHA” vehicle test lanes that measure steering, brake and suspension performance, as well as wheel alignment and tyre tread depth.

Bringing Luxury Experiences to Brisbane

Here in Brisbane, the Breakfast Creek Wharf is another exemplary development by sister company’s LSH Properties and LSH Auto International, as it aims to contribute to the area's rise into an increasingly sophisticated lifestyle hub.

On 27th April 2019, a public welfare event themed as “Let’s Sing Together” was held in Kunshan headquarters of Lei Shing Hong Machinery. The event is jointly organized by Shanghai Mei’ai Integration Center of Art & Public Welfare Development, Caterpillar and Lei Shing Hong Machinery. After over one month of planning and preparation, a group of 23 visually impaired people from Mei’ai Integration Centre and more than 30 volunteers from Caterpillar and Lei Shing Hong share the world of each other and get along well in harmony through listening and heart-to-heart communication.
