Despite the unprecedented events of this year, our team at LSH Auto Australia has not forgotten about how the devastating bushfires in January have impacted local communities across Australia.
LSH Auto Australia has been continuing to take action in assisting affected communities with long-term recovery efforts by joining the BizRebuild program. Initiated by the Business Council of Australia, the program strives to help local businesses restore their operations back to normal, and ensure communities are able to rebuild local infrastructure and services.
LSH Auto Australia has closely supported the BizRebuild program by providing utility vehicles that can handle all terrains to deliver the equipment and supplies needed for recovery work in impacted communities. The first three Mercedes-Benz X-Class Utes (pickups) were delivered in mid-February and have remained hard at work in Southern New South Wales. These utes have travelled far and wide, facilitating the repair of infrastructure and businesses in a wide range of areas from the Canberra Region to Kangaroo Island.
BizRebuild has also been supporting farmers in Braidwood, located between Canberra and Bateman’s Bay, including surveying repaired power lines in the bushfire areas with the help of LSH Auto Australia’s vehicles. Recovery teams have likewise travelled by ferry to Kangaroo Island to assist in the re-establishment of businesses in bushfire-affected communities.
At LSH Auto, we firmly believe that it is our responsibility to support local communities in times of hardship. We will continue to partner with the Business Council of Australia and the BizRebuild program for as long as necessary to help and support community recovery.
