Mercedes-Benz has been one of the main sponsors of German food banks for 25 years, having delivered over 1,250 vans for the cause during this time.

Early this year, STERNAUTO upheld that tradition with the delivery of a brand new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter to Tafel Leipzig, a privately operated food bank that does not receive public funding.

As versatile, efficient and reliable vehicles are essential to the food bank in ensuring quality and freshness of food during collection and delivery, the Sprinter is an ideal addition to the Tafel Leipzig’s fleet.

Mercedes-Benz Vans of Stockport offers another form of support which they carry out on a regular basis.

Recently, it was in the form of a donation to support the Kits by County initiative, organised by Stockport Country Community Trust, to distribute free PE kits to primary schools in Stockport.

The project aims to help children become more active and engaged in sports by alleviating the financial burden of PE kits for families with limited disposable income.

The first PE kits were delivered by Stockport County FC players using two Mercedes-Benz eVito vans which were supplied by Mercedes-Benz Vans of Stockport to support the charity’s projects and programs across the county.

A new year, a new showroom.

Kicking off the year with a new BYD dealership, LSH Auto UK announced the official opening of BYD Bury in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury, Greater Manchester.

The new showroom is situated right in the heart of the Mill Gate Shopping Centre, a premier shopping centre between the large Bury general market and the Bury Transport Interchange.

The opening of BYD Bury marks another milestone in LSH Auto UK’s partnership with BYD in the UK - having already established BYD Macclesfield, BYD Tamworth, BYD Stockport and BYD West London - since April 2023.

New year, renewed commitment.

LSH Auto Australia has announced its renewed support of Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation’s charity fundraising rides for 2025.

As part of that support, it will be sponsoring the Black Spirit of Chain Jersey, prized for embodying the spirit of the foundation - community, giving, and camaraderie, and awarded to riders on the 7-day rides.

LSH Auto Australia will be championing the LSH Auto Black Jersey across all three states and supporting the riders as they push themselves to make a difference for the community.

The Chain Reaction Challenge has raised more than $43 million for children’s charities, since its first ride in 2007 and LSH Auto Australia is proud to be a long standing supporter of the foundation, and is looking forward to seeing incredible individuals with.
