LSH Auto Australia supports Run2Cure as part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and ESG initiatives, helping raise vital funds for Neuroblastoma Australia. The partnership includes vehicle sponsorship and the display of smart vehicles by retailers at each event, increasing brand and product exposure while showcasing smart’s fully electric mobility.

LSH Auto Australia Drives Healthcare Access for Homeless Through Street Side Medics Partnership

LSH Auto Australia has been a foundational corporate partner of Street Side Medics since 2020, supporting the charity’s mission to deliver accessible primary healthcare to people experiencing homelessness. The partnership began with the donation of the first Mercedes-Benz mobile clinic van and has since expanded to five vans, enabling services across Sydney, Melbourne and regional New South Wales.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter’s spacious interior and flexibility to be fitted for medical use have been critical to this delivery, providing a practical, indirect endorsement of its suitability for a wide range of business applications. To date, this support has enabled more than 20,000 medical consultations through volunteer-led mobile clinics.

Recently, Her Excellency The Honourable Margaret Beazley AC, KC, Governor of New South Wales, viewed five Street Side Medics mobile clinic vans at Bennelong Lawn, between Government House and the Sydney Opera House.

LSH Credit Australia CSR: Our Big Kitchen in Sydney

Recently, the LSH Credit Australia teams from the Sydney and Melbourne offices visited Our Big Kitchen in Sydney, lending a hand in a bustling community kitchen.

The team shares Our Big Kitchen’s belief in the power of giving back to the community. It is more than just cooking: but about how every volunteer makes a difference, strengthens community bonds, and enriches their own life in the process.

We were split into three teams, each tasked with preparing either pasta or couscous using donated vegetables, spices, and condiments. While the task was to prepare and distribute meals to those in need, the spirit and journey of making the meals together was equally important.

From preparing ingredients to cooking and packing, we embraced the opportunity to bond and serve. Each team prepared 50 meals in just two hours, a tremendous team effort with a healthy dose of competitive spirit.

This CSR event will be remembered fondly by all of us as it was the last event with our respected Managing Director, Paul Munt, before his untimely passing the following day.

LSH Credit UK: Supporting local conservation efforts and royal recognition

As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility programme, LSH Credit UK has proudly supported the Heaton Mersey Conservation Group (HMVCG) over the past few years. Our team has contributed to projects such as clearing overgrown grass and brambles, creating safe play areas for local primary school children by removing vegetation, and restoring the community orchard through mulching and weed suppression.

Looking ahead, we plan to return in early 2026 to plant new saplings, continuing our commitment to enhancing green spaces for residents and providing safe outdoor areas for children.

We are delighted that HMVCG’s volunteer-led efforts have recently been recognised with the King’s Award for Voluntary Service 2025, the UK’s highest honour for volunteer groups. This award highlights the group’s outstanding work in preserving Heaton Mersey’s natural and cultural heritage.

We are proud that our team’s contributions have supported these efforts and delivered tangible benefits to the local community.

LSH Credit UK Supports Natural Habitats at Sywell Country Park

The LSH Credit UK team was proud to once again support the Sywell Country Park as part of our CSR commitment to sustainability and community engagement in the country.

Although the 4 km park is owned by the Local Council, much of its upkeep depends on the dedication of volunteers. Our colleagues helped by building natural hedges from fallen branches to create safe habitats for wildlife just in time for winter. The team also cleared overgrown areas to encourage the growth of wildflowers in the park.

Beyond the environmental work, the day offered a valuable opportunity for colleagues to come together, strengthen connections, and contribute meaningfully to the local community – all under the blessing of clear skies and good weather on the day!

LSH Credit and LSH Property Support Local Green Spaces – UK CSR Day

The LSH Credit and LSH Property teams in the UK were delighted to join forces in a CSR event at the Heaton Mersey Vale orchard, which was a leafy 10-minute walk from our office in Stockport. Also in attendance was the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Manchester, Kui Man-Gerry Yeung OBE.

The team started by clearing overgrown grass and weeds from around the fruit trees and then covered the soil with mulch, which is a mix of bark and compost, and provides nutrients to the soil, weed suppression, and moisture retention.

We also cut back encroaching vegetation to open a safe play and exploration zone for local primary school children. This will allow youngsters to learn about native plants and insects in a well-maintained environment.

Despite the summer heatwave, our combined efforts made a visible difference: tree bases are tidy, pathways are clear, and future orchard visitors will benefit from healthier soil and safer spaces.

We’re already looking forward to returning later in the year to plant new saplings and refresh mulch. It’s fantastic to see a simple CSR day translate into real, lasting benefits for both our team and the community.

LSH Property and LSH Credit Australia: Easter Eggs and Helping Hands

On the morning of 10 April 2025, the teams at LSH Property and LSH Credit Australia joined forces to participate in a social responsibility activity at Helping Hands Mission.

Established in 2007, Helping Hands Mission is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that provides emergency food and household material aid to Victorian families and individuals in need. The organisation currently operates their charity from LSH Group’s 71 Matthews Avenue property at Airport West, Melbourne among their locations.

The charity is 100% self-funded by their ‘Op Shop’ sales and donations, which allows them to feed over 3,000 local families each week with fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen produce, pantry staples and more. Their operation also provides employment and community engagement for individuals with a disability.

LSH staff donated over 450 Easter Eggs and arranged an “Easter Egg” drive in our Rialto office building in Melbourne. The Easter Eggs were then delivered on the day to relevant families as they entered into the Easter season. The group also joined Helping Hands Mission in sorting food donations and preparing for goods to be sold in the Op Shop.
