Mercedes-AMG has this week opened a stunning new stand-alone, full-service showroom to showcase its performance vehicle range in Sydney.
To be known as AMG Sydney, it is the first dedicated sales-and-service showroom for Mercedes-AMG vehicles in the world, and just the second stand-alone AMG showroom along with a facility opened in Tokyo earlier this year.
The new showroom represents the sports car and performance brand in a discrete architecture for the first time in Australia, and will present customers with an immersive yet approachable brand experience.

Mercedes-Benz’s official dealer Han Sung Motor held a media event to introduce the new Cheongdam Showroom. The Mercedes-Benz Cheongdam Showroom is the company’s first ever digital showroom that applies the new interior. The Cheongdam Showroom consists of a café, AMG Performance Centre and S-Class, Maybach specialised exhibition space and a delivery zone. Visiting customers will be able to look at the exhibited vehicles while enjoying drinks at the café and also be able to experience the Mercedes-Benz brand through the large screen consisting of 18 OLED screens. The interior design clearly distinguishes the vehicle exhibition space and customer area, consisting of a Car Display Zone with a black color scheme and stone carpet that conveys a feeling of sleekness and comfort. The 2nd floor is the AMG Performance Centre, where high-performance AMG models are exhibited. Similarly, the 3rd floor is a specialised area for Mercedes-Benz’s flagship models S-Class and Mercedes-Maybach. According to Han Sung Motor, customers will be able to experience direct and indirect identification of exterior and interior options without a real vehicle through the media wall.
From 13 to 15 November, the 2017 China Automobile Dealers Industry Annual Convention hosted by the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) was successfully held at Suzhou International Expo Center. Themed “honest and sincere craftsmanship to build an everlasting future”, up to 3,000 professionals including government leaders, experts, scholars, representatives of automobile dealers, representatives of European and American industry associations, agency representatives of automobile multinational corporations stationed in China and representatives of automobile manufacturers attended the event. Discussions were held on hot topics prevailing in the automobile dealers industry in 2017 and development plans for the field of automobile dealers.
At the annual convention, LSH Automobile won two groups awards for 2017 – “The Most Influential Corporate Brand Award” and “Social Responsibility and Public Welfare Award”. The Company’s Corporate Affairs Department staff also garnered the “2017 China Automobile Dealers Industry – Outstanding Industry Workers Award”.
The Machinery Division provided total power solution to this project in Wuxi Tianshun including gen-sets, container, parallel control, cooling, lubrication and ventilation system. Since the running of the new gen-sets, the daily landfill gas consumption has reached a target of 52,800 m3. It has produced more than 100,000kWh of electricity which is equivalent to the daily electricity consumption of 2,500 households. It has also reduced the CO2 emission of nearly 420 tons per day. Comparing to conventional machine with the same capacity, it has saved nearly 35 tons of coal."
